Patagonia hardly needs an introduction.  For several decades now, since being founded by Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia has made great kit - and is certainly one of the brands Racekit would trust 100% in virtually any environment.  Back in 2001, Andy used almost exclusively Patagonia gear during his 26-day Alaska Ultrasport win, and after publishing his kit-list in a magazine article, met several racers dressed in exactly the same gear on the following year's start-line!  Not only have Patagonia maintained high levels of quality and innovation over the years, they've also put their money where their mouth is when it comes to being environmentally sound.   So far, they've made over $35 million in grants available to 1,000 recipients.  The company's garment re-cycling scheme Common Threads (more here) has re-used thousands of old Patagonia garments, and their Footprint Chronicles (more here) chart the eco-sound progression of products from design through manufacture and into the hands of the consumer.
