Black Diamond's carbon-fibre, ultra-distance poles are a great lightweight choice for runners, backpackers and hikers who don't want to be weighed down with heavier versions.

Weighing only 265g a pair for the 110cm length (275g for the 130cm), they feature Black Diamond's innovative Z-Pole design, which breaks the pole down into its three sections with a single, push-button release.  

The inner cord is coated, and Black Diamond's clever 'speed cone' design means the sections slip and click easily and smoothly into place.  A lightweight, super-comfy EVA grip features breathable, moisture-wicking straps.  

Each pair of poles comes with a stow bag, plus a set each of interchangeable, easy screw-in carbide tips and non-marking rubber tips.  When folded, the three sections are secured in place via notched 'catchers' on the pole basket.

All in all, a superb lightweight pole choice.
