This is the 'Pro' version of the Gorillapod Original - an SLR model which allows you to securely attach larger cameras and camcorders up to a weight of 800g (1.75lb). Its flexible leg joints twist through 360 degrees, enabling the Pod to be attached to trees, railings and just about anything else that's handy! Andy: These are really great pieces of kit - especially if you're on a solo trip. I've used a Gorillapod on several winter trips, and having a secure tripod sure beats trying to balance an expensive camera on an unstable pile of rocks! This Yukon shot is one of my favourites Gorilla-photos...
Update: I've now seen the Gorillapod in use at sports events too - at the Barcelona Euro Athletics Champs in July, several photographers used Gorillapods to set up remote cameras on the finish line.
