A tried and tested favourite amongst hundreds of Marathon des Sables and adventure racers (including us), the R-Light is still the pack of choice for multi-day events. What sets this pack apart is the six-pad breathable back, meaning the R-Light is extremely comfortable - even when carrying a full load (for example, on Day 1 of the MdS when carrying all your food supplies). It's extremely light (just 630g/22.2oz) considering its generous 30-litre capacity, and with buckles to attach the Equilibre front pack if required, it'll swallow a surprising amount of gear. Standard features include two-bottle waist belt, 2 or 3-litre drink bladder sleeve (with velcro fasteners to keep it upright in the pack), trekking pole attachment straps, mesh and zip storage pockets, variable chest strap positions, and, importantly, a full compression system to stop kit bouncing as your food supplies are used up during an event. Inside-Out
