A quick explanation re: the name of this ultra-lightweight specialist racing pack - Marco Olmo is a legendary figure on the European ultra-running scene, and this pack was designed with his input following no less than four MdS wins and two victories in the Ultra Tour de Mont Blanc.
Yes, it's minimalist, but this 360g/12oz pack still incorporates mesh pockets, compression straps, two chest bottle-holders (with mesh gel holders - see photo below) and 20 litres of carrying capacity. Includes two 750ml Raidlight drink bottles with flexible drink tube and bite valve. Also available as a super-minimalist 5-litre day-pack.

Andy: I've used both the 5 and 20-litre versions of this pack over the past few months, and I find them really comfortable. The front pockets are great for storing trail snacks or a bottle, and because the chest strap is attached to the front of the two pouches (ie it sits AWAY from your chest, not directly on it), it doesn't constrict your breathing like conventionally-placed straps do. Personally, I also like the fact that both versions are short in length, meaning that when you're climbing a long steep hill with arms crossed behind you, it doesn't hinder you...
