The Rainshadow is one of the best thought-out jackets we've come across - waterproof, breathable and with some great features to improve comfort.  It has Patagonia's H2No fabric barrier, plus their DWR water-repelling finish to guarantee superb wet-weather performance for years of use.  It also has a roll-down, 2-way adjustable hood, a two-way front zip, under-arm 'pit zips' to help ventilation, velcro cuff tabs and water-proof external zips.  It even has a comfy microfleece lining where your neck and chin meet the fabric... like we said, VERY well thought-out!
