The most comfortable running shorts I've ever worn - lightweight (125g/5oz) and with stretch side panels and two side mesh pockets which are ideal for stashing trail snacks, meaning you can keep topping up your energy reserves while on the move, without the hassle of reaching into a bumbag or pack. These also have elasticated 'gel-loops' on both sides.

The mesh pockets in these shorts are perfect for carrying the adventure racer's favourite pick-me-up - jelly babies! I find that if I have to unzip a bumbag, or take off a pack, I tend to leave eating until it's too late - so having a couple of pockets for jellies etc is ideal. Because the pockets sit close on your hip, you don't notice them at all.
