The Nine Trails vest is a really functional piece of Patagonia kit - a fully windproof gilet designed specifically to keep your core warm, while allowing excess heat to escape via the breathable stretch-woven back panel.   It features a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, and has elasticated armholes and hem to eliminate draughts.  Weighing just 90g (3.2oz), it has a zipped pocket centre-back, and reflective graphics front and rear.
