A gaiter specifically designed by Raidlight for desert running. Full-shoe coverage with scuff resistant front fabric and lycra at the heel. Comes complete with velcro to fasten onto the shoe (one strip attached to gaiter, separate 'loose' strip to be attached to shoe - see below). Weight 80g/2.8oz.

These gaitors work well in deeper sand, and are - in our experience - the hardest-wearing of the gaiters on the market today. Remember that a lot of the terrain you'll encounter in the desert isn't just sand - rocky sections will soon slice through flimsier gaiters.
