W's Nano Puff - green

Fast-becoming a Patagonia classic, this super-lightweight pullover top is wind- and water-resistant, and scrunches down to the size of a grapefruit in its own chest pocket stuff-sac.  It's no frills, admittedly, (no hood, for example) but we'd challenge you to find a better weight-for-warmth top on the market.  At just 266g, and with a carabiner loop for easy attachment, you could just loop it onto a belt and forget it's there until the sun goes down.  Daytime, it's a really versatile top that'll keep you warm against the wind, and its DWR (durable water repellent) finish means you'll stay dry too - in other words, just as warm as a fleece, but with protection against wind and rain too.
